Stephen Benbow has been photographing weddings for over 18 years; he started by working as a Saturday photographer for a busy studio, which was covering in excess of 200 wedding per year. This meant there where days on which he did 2 or more weddings, some he covered the start of others the end, swapping with another photographer in order a schedule can be met.
From this he learnt a great deal about the job and firmly believes that it is important a couple knows who their photographer will be, and that they are committed to them only, for their special day.
Since then he has worked for himself building up a reputation for speed and cutting edge creativity. It makes him smile, to see other photographers using styles today he was using 10 years ago, whilst today he has never stopped seeking the latest angles on creativity, technology and productivity in order that he can offer to you one of the best services available today.
By using a combination of a “standard” main camera and a second camera with a state of the art vibration reduction zoom lens, he is able to take all the “normal” expected pictures, groups if required are taken is an organised systematic manner taking as little time as is possible. Along side this he is able to take remarkable candid, and reportage style images of guests not even aware that he has done so, images of the like not normally taken at weddings, and in the past were not possible.
By using digital technology viewing is available on DVD, which he believes offers the best form of preview available, together with free online viewing, there is no other option available to offer such great versatility.
